cFos Power Brain

1. Retrieve the OCPP URL in our app

  • Open our app on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Look for the section where you can add devices or create new connections. This section may be labeled "Devices," "Settings," "Integrations," or similar.
  • Tap "Add device," "Create new connection," or a similar option.
  • Select "Wallbox" or "Charging station" from the list of available device types.
  • Select "OCPP 1.6" as the manufacturer.
  • The app will now display an OCPP URL. This URL will look something like this: 
    ws://cleverpv-ocpp.azurewebsites.net/ocpp/abcd1234
  • Make a note of this URL, as you will need it in the next step.

2. Configure OCPP settings in the cFos Power Brain wallbox

  • Open the web interface of your cFos Power Brain wallbox.
  • Click the green gear icon ("Settings") in the wallbox tile.
  • Navigate to the "OCPP Gateway Settings" section.

  • Paste the previously noted OCPP URL into the "OCPP Gateway URL" field.
  • Enter any identifier in the "OCPP Gateway Client ID" field. This identifier will be used later in our app to identify your wallbox.
  • Leave all other fields in the "OCPP Gateway Settings" section empty.
  • Click "Save."
  • Wait a few seconds. The text "OCPP-Gateway accepted" or a similar message should now appear in the wallbox tile. This confirms that the wallbox has successfully connected to our app's backend.

3. Complete the setup in our app

  • Return to our app.
  • Follow the instructions in the app to complete the setup of your wallbox.
  • You should now be able to control your wallbox via our app.
