Webasto offers a modern wallbox that can use the OCPP interface to charge your car with PV surplus from your solar system.

Preparation

To connect your Webasto wallbox to our system, you must activate the wallbox's OCPP backend.

Before starting the setup, you must connect your wallbox to the internet and install the latest updates.

Access to the wallbox is required to configure the OCPP backend.

When you add the wallbox in our system, your OCPP URL will be displayed in the wallbox menu.

You must enter this link into your wallbox. To do this, you need to connect to the wallbox via your home network and log in to the settings menu. Please refer to your wallbox manual for instructions on where to enter the link. Please ensure that the name of the wallbox does not contain any spaces " " or underscores "_". Otherwise, the control will not function.

Save the settings and restart the wallbox!

Integration

Once you have completed this configuration, it may take up to 10 minutes for your wallbox to register with us. As soon as the connection to your wallbox is established, it will appear in our app in the dropdown menu under your OCPP URL.

You can now configure the remaining wallbox settings and save your wallbox.

⚠️ To receive the initial status from the wallbox, a charging session must be started.
