EVBox offers with the Principle A modern wall box that can load excess PV stream into your car from your solar system via the OCPP interface.

Due to the integration with us, the wall box can be operated from anywhere.

❗Bitte make sure that we only support wall boxes with performance measurement. Unfortunately, this function is not available for every EVBOX.

Preparation

To connect the Elvi, it is necessary to activate the OCPP backend of the Wallbox.

Before starting the facility you have to Connect wallbox to the internet And install the latest updates (from firmware 424). The firmware update only works over WLAN.

To set up the OCPP backend, access via the Wallbox app is necessary.

If you put on the wallbox with us, your individual OCPP-URL will be displayed in the Wallbox menu.

You now have to store this link in the app with the corresponding wall box.

Open the EVBox Connect App and connect via Bluetooth With your wall box.

Change now to the Installationsmodus and authenticate yourself with the included access code from the Principle. Then you switch to the menu [Laden management platform].

Here you click on the menu item [Other backend url].

In the following screen you enter the OCPP URL that you copied from the app.

It is important that you end up "/“Insert, otherwise you cannot press the Save button.

Now the wall box has to be restarted. You can do that directly via the app with the function [Reset wallbox] carry out.

Integration

As soon as the connection to your Wallbox is established, it will appear in the app in the dropdown under yours OCPP-URL.

Now you can make the remaining wall box settings and save your wall box.

⚠️ In order to get the first status from the Wallbox, a charging process must be started.
